| Mill Creek Canyon from closed gate at Maple gate to end of road at Bigwater, 4.5 miles each way, good elevation gain on way up, downhill on way down, snow patches still on top. Took 1 hour 5 minutes to get up and 40minutes to get down. Most I have ran since high school I think at one time. Wasnt as tired as I thought |

| My legs feel it from yesterdays 9 mile, the most Ive done, but still I ran about 6 miles today. About 1.5 miles from where I parked my car this morning to my office but it was too awkward carrying my brief case and lunch. Then my 4.5 mile loop in Dimple Dell tonight. Im finding I have to force myself less to run now, even though there still is a mental battle of doing it or not doing it and wanting to do it and then the side of me that wants to be lazy |

| Ran Upper Mill Creek again, 9 miles with elevation, but did alone so was slower without my son. Ran 1:12 up and 47:00 down. Upset stomach |

I thought I ran well but was disappointed in my time as it was hot which I dont run well in, probably more uphill and I had trouble with footing in rutted trail and sprinkler mudholes around Sugarhouse Park. Was 67th of 178 total runners and 5th in age group. Did a little warmup and ran back to car.
Got almost 30 miles in this week, alot for me. Just cant seem to run each day with work schedule and sons sports schedule |
